Maxi-Sweep was founded in 1975 by Marty St. Martin who began his own swimming pool cleaning service. After being let down by the equipment and cleaning standards of the time, Marty came up with the patents that make today's Maxi-Sweep, and although ground breaking at the time with over 50 years of innovation todays Maxi-Sweeps are more advanced with 225sq. ft. filter area and a higher flow rate with speeds up to 8,000 gph. Compact into a more manageable size that’s easily portable. Maxi-Sweep was sold in 2021 to a family owned small business that has been doing business with Marty and Maxi-Sweep since 2003. Marty’s passion for the industry and desire to provide customers with top of the line equipment has been passed on.

Meet the new owners: Jesse and Laci.

Jesse and Laci have been a small business owner of a successful powder coating company in Fruita, CO. Soon after they met a client under the name Marty St. Martin and after a 19 yr. run in business together Marty was looking to retire and seeing how well Jesse and Laci did with there powder coating business, who at the time was in the process of erecting a new building. Marty came to Jesse with a proposal for the company. Jesse accepted and action was immediate. Around 2016 Jesse hired Levi to help out with his growing powder coating business. A 16 yr old at the time. Shortly after the purchase of maxi-sweep in 2019 the technician at the time had put in his 2 weeks. Jesse now looking for a new employee asked Levi if he could switch over and become a maxi-sweep technician. Levi obliged and has been building vacuums since.
